CareX creates supplemental coverage for Blue Cross customers–a complex message for today’s short attention spans. My job was to develop a CareX brand from the ground up for a young, hip 20-something audience. I started with a logo using the natural shape of a heart within the X. I wanted it to feel bold and modern so it could work on multiple platforms and engage an over-stimulated audience. The blue color choice ties into the Blue Cross brand. I then continued the brand look and feel in a website design, subscriber card and iphone app.
